New Music – Ab-Soul

New Music – Ab-Soul

Is it me, or do i feel like my soul brother #2 isn’t getting the promotion he needs for this “These Days” album coming out…..? i just feel like they are randomly dropping songs off the album until it releases and that’s a no bueno in my opinion. however, that does not mean that i will not continue to support the TDEAT artist mr. Ab-Soul. Coming back with a feature from fellow label mate ScHoolboy Q aka PUFFY, here’s a new drop from the two entitled “Hunnid Stax.” Enjoy and remember ….TDEAT!!!!

Read - XXL to Announce 2014 Freshman Class

XXL magazine plans to announce this year’s 2014 freshman class and will be presenting it May 5th, 2014 during BET’s 106&Park. Apparently this year’s cover has already been shot this year’s class has been selected. Last year’s list consisted of Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, Joey Bada$$, Action Bronson, Dizzy Wright, etc. I personally am excited to see who made the list for this year’s class.

Apparently, Ab-Soul’s upcoming project that he has been working on for quite some time now, is being in talks of just “leaking” according to a tweet that the Soul Brother #2 posted on Twitter May 1st. Top Dawg, TDE’s CEO, then responded on Twitter by saying “”I DARE A NIGGA ON MY TEAM LEAK HIS ALBUM…..#TDE.” He then also tweeted “”YOU CANT RUSH GREATNESS…….” Clearly Top Dawg does not want his rapper to just leak his album and pretty much hints that the 3 iii’s rapper’s album will be “GREATNESS.” A few months back Ab-Soul confirmed that he was finishing up work on his album and in March 2014, Top Dawg said that the rapper’s album will be released later on this year in 2014. I don’t know about you all, but as you know, I am a TDE fiend and just want Mr. Black Lip Pastor himself to just leak the album. But then again there are certain ways to go about doing things and perhaps that’s where Top Dawg is coming from in being against Ab-Soul just leaking his album. Great things do happen in due time.
