One more hitta from the late great legend, 2Pac Shakur feat. Dr. Dre and Roger Troutman, “California Love.” One of my allllll time favorites. I remember it was one of the first songs I fell in love with when I first got a taste of Pac at a young age. Love this classic! Came out December of ’95 after he was released from prison (as usual lol) and was his first single from him after signing with Death Row Records. RIP and Happy Birthday to Mr. Thug Life himself, Tupac Shakur!

Man…..this man has influenced my life in more ways than one without me ever meeting him or even being alive for too long (i was born in ’92 , Pac died in ’96) and i was captivated by this poet just being a little kid. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR. In honor of this legend’s birthday, here’s a classic “I Ain’t Mad At Cha.” This joint was off his “All Eyez on Me,” album and was released after his death even though the album came out 7 months prior to his untimely passing. 2Pac would have been 43 years old today. We miss you Makaveli ! But God had a better plan, and we ain’t mad at cha.! RIP !

Watch the new music video from group Dilated Peoples entitled “Good As Gone,” a track produced by Dj Premier. The California group’s video was directed by Andrew Melby and fellow group member Evidence and is a single off their upcoming project “Directors of Photography.” Love this group. They always bring the originality back in hip hop. #RESPECT

Read - Eminem to Release Spike Lee Directed Video

SO, Slim Shady himself was able to collab with the legendary Spike Lee for his song “Headlights” off of his Marshall Mathers LP 2 album. He plans to release the Spike Lee directed video tomorrow, Mother’s Day, May 11th, which seems perfect since the song centers around the relationship with his mother. The song features help from Nate Ruess of the band Fun. I shall be posting the video of course so look at for it!

My personal classic rapper Redman is back with a new video for his new joint out called “Dunfiato.” It is apparently a single off of his upcoming mixtape “Muddy Waters 2 Mixtape,” but there is no word on when this second installment is set to drop….it bothers me that this guy just drops music and then disappears….but I’m grateful either way . enjoy kiddies.
