common-nobodys-smiling-cover

the legendary hip hop Chi-town artist Common has released the track listing for his upcoming new album “Nobody’s Smiling,” which is set to drop July 22nd. The album was produced by another legend, No I.D., and features guests like Jhene Aiko, Vince Staples, Big Sean and more. I’ve always been a Common fan at least when I came into this world (year of 92 to be exact) and have always appreciated the artistry from him and the talent that this man posesses. Before there was Kanye, there was Common. Respect the legend ! But peep the track listing from Common from his new album including the deluxe edition tracks :

2. No Fear
3 Diamonds (Feat. Big Sean)
4. Blak Majik (Feat. Jhené Aiko)
5. Speak My Piece
6. Hustle Harder (Feat. Snoh Aalegra & Dreezy)
7. Nobody’s Smiling
8. Real (Feat. Elijah Blake)
9. Kingdom (Feat. Vince Staples)
10. Rewind That

Deluxe Edition:

12. 7 Deadly Sings
13. Young Hearts Run Free (Feat. Cocaine 80s)

One more hitta from the late great legend, 2Pac Shakur feat. Dr. Dre and Roger Troutman, “California Love.” One of my allllll time favorites. I remember it was one of the first songs I fell in love with when I first got a taste of Pac at a young age. Love this classic! Came out December of ’95 after he was released from prison (as usual lol) and was his first single from him after signing with Death Row Records. RIP and Happy Birthday to Mr. Thug Life himself, Tupac Shakur!

Man…..this man has influenced my life in more ways than one without me ever meeting him or even being alive for too long (i was born in ’92 , Pac died in ’96) and i was captivated by this poet just being a little kid. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR. In honor of this legend’s birthday, here’s a classic “I Ain’t Mad At Cha.” This joint was off his “All Eyez on Me,” album and was released after his death even though the album came out 7 months prior to his untimely passing. 2Pac would have been 43 years old today. We miss you Makaveli ! But God had a better plan, and we ain’t mad at cha.! RIP !
